8:11am: she lives!!
Yes, it's true. We've managed to find, deep in the jungles of Oxfordshire, a lesser spotted Minx. (Latin name minximoo shagalot-snooziquickafterwards)
It's a small wee beastie of about 5ft high...long dark coloured shaggy coat on its head and the rest of it's body is adorned in widly differing plummage ranging from the satorially elegant to the plain old drab and boring.
Okay....enough of that...yes, its me...

Right update..

1) still alive
2) operation in two weeks...not feeling too bad.
3) working hard on uni stuff
4) working hard on other stuff
6) lovelife rocks...
7) much happiness....

Kids back to school...

So sanity prevails, well mostly.

Right I need to get to grips with the IJ thingie....changed the colour scheme etc will have to play more later. Seems odd going back to an old system but quite nice.


Had a busy day with a trip to the dentist, with unpleasent news and now am baking cakes and talking to R.

Am contemplating becoming a school governor but am not sure about babysitting stuff. Need to talk to tame babysitting young lady and see if she could do it fairly regularly and not cost me a fortune.

It means I will get out and get involved in things, which is good for me. Also means I can help within the new school for A's last 3 years. That must be good.

Can i do this on top of the computing course and possible busy year within the R+ stuff next year, yes i think i can. In fact the busier i am the better it is for me.

One of S's new teachers is on a popular quiz programme this afternoon in a few mins...we're going to watch and see how much he wins....then S's is going to ask to borrow a fiver tomorrow!

Am planning weekend away with R this weekend and then a weekend at home with him the following week. Then it will be 4 weeks till we have much time together due to one thing and another...nevermind...I'll just pine a lot:-P

9:11am: here i am...
Last day with child at home....Alex goes back tomorrow at last, hooray!!!

I love my kids dearly but not having a moment to yourself, sometimes for several weeks is just painful sometimes.

Anyhow, he goes back tomorrow, Richard is here for the day, haven't seen him in two weeks so that will be great.

Have a pile of bits and pieces to do today and a very skinny bit of shopping. Very broke right now due to my new car but give it a couple of months and it will even out.

I now have an insane journal as well as a blog. Trying to keep up with everyone is fun at times....

This is what LJ used to be like 4/5 years ago...much nicer. I don't need a jorunal with twiddly bits, knobs and whirly gigs, just a journal....

I post in occasionally just to keep ppl,who don't have an LJ up to speed as i do tend to drop off the planet occasionally.
and my old faithful LJ
but sadly LJ is not what it was and is developing into an unruly teenager than I can't identify with. This might be my last year using it as a prime journal. I don't like corporate stuff...big is not necessarily better.

Anyhow, that is where I am now if you wish to find me...
